Ethiopia And Turkey Have Agreed To Increase Trade Between The Two Countries To $ 1 Billion
Ethiopia and Turkey have announced that they have reached an agreement to increase trade between the two countries.
The 8th meeting of the Ethio-Turkey Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation Commission was held in Ankara with the presence of Minister of Trade and Industry Melaku Alebel.
During this time, the two countries reached an agreement to improve trade between them.
They also agreed to reduce trade deficits, trade barriers, increase investment and support small and micro enterprises.
According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, trade between the two countries reached 398.8 million US dollars in 2019.
Of this, Turkey’s exports to Ethiopia are 378.3 million USD.
