Corrections should be clear and traceable.
Readers, banks and subject specialists can report a rate or article error. We verify reports against the strongest available primary source.

Report a possible error
Email contact@ethiopianforex.com with:
- The Ethiopian Forex page URL.
- The bank, currency and value involved.
- The date and approximate time you saw it.
- A link to the official source, plus a screenshot when useful.
- A short explanation of what should change.
What happens after a report
- 1. Verify: We compare the report with the bank’s official publication and the stored effective date.
- 2. Correct: A confirmed material error is fixed promptly. Historical rows are preserved or clearly amended where appropriate.
- 3. Explain: Material article corrections receive an update or correction note describing the change and date.
- 4. Respond: When contact details are provided, we aim to acknowledge useful reports, though we cannot guarantee a response to every message.
Rate changes are not always errors
Banks can update rates during the day. Cash, transaction, card and remittance rates can also differ. A newer or different rate type does not automatically mean the published dated cash row was incorrect.
