This policy explains what may be processed when you visit Ethiopian Forex or contact the publication.

Information processed today

Ethiopian Forex does not offer user accounts, accept payments or execute currency transactions. Its content pages load the Google AdSense tag to connect the site to the publisher account. This site does not currently use a separate audience-analytics tag.

Our hosting and security providers may process routine technical information such as an IP address, browser type, request time and security events to deliver and protect the website.

When you contact us

The contact form opens your own email application; the website does not store the form entry. If you send an email, the message, address and any information you include are processed by the relevant email providers and retained only as reasonably needed to answer, document a correction, protect the service or meet legal obligations.

Do not send passwords, banking credentials, identification documents or sensitive financial details.

External services and links

The rate service reads a public Google Sheet containing bank-rate data, not reader information. Pages also link to bank websites and other external sources. Those services have their own privacy practices, which Ethiopian Forex does not control.

Advertising and Google AdSense

Ethiopian Forex has added the Google AdSense tag on content pages while this site is reviewed. The tag may transmit technical information to Google when a page loads, even before ads appear. If Google approves the site and advertising is enabled, Google and its selected advertising partners may use cookies or similar storage and process information such as a device or browser identifier, IP address, and activity on this site to deliver, measure, and, where permitted, personalize ads.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we plan to use Google’s certified consent-management message. Once that message is enabled, visitors will be able to consent, decline, or manage choices. They can revisit their choices using the Privacy and cookie settings link.
