Editorial standards

Useful information, clear sources and visible corrections.

Our editorial process separates factual reporting, explanation and commercial relationships.

Source hierarchy

We prefer primary sources: the National Bank of Ethiopia, Ethiopian banks, regulators, exchanges, official directives and provider documentation. Secondary sources may provide context but do not replace a stronger primary source when one is available.

Rate publication

Automated collectors can propose rate rows, but only approved rows enter the public comparison. We preserve the effective date, source and rate type, and apply the checks described in our data-source methodology.

Articles and automation

Editorial tools, including automation and AI-assisted drafting, may support research, organization or editing. Published material remains subject to source review and editorial responsibility. We do not present generated text as evidence.

Independence and corrections

Payment or a commercial relationship cannot buy a best-rate ranking. Material commercial relationships will be disclosed. Confirmed errors are handled through the public corrections policy.
